CurlHood Celebrates 2 Years and WebsiteLaunch Party!

On the 7th October CurlHood hosted the private party of the year celebrating the launch of the CurlHood website and it’s anticipating, 2-year anniversary!

This event was created in honour to celebrate CurlHood’s latest collection; The Night Glam Collection. The CurlHood team made sure that this collection was perfect for the Hood, serving them the most luxurious night time essentials to protect all hair types. The aim was to create excitement for your night time routine making it a little glam with our satin theme collection. Some items include; satin bonnets, headbands and pillow cases catered to protect all hair types.

Not only was the event created to honour the new collection, but CurlHood finally launched their very own CurlHood website which was also highlighted and celebrated at this event. Allowing you to now purchase, book and read blog posts – like this one! Keeping you up to date with all things CurlHood and allowing you to be an active member of the Hood.

Arriving at the venue, the décor was very bohemian, with Pampas grass everywhere, string lights and table decorations which matched perfectly with the theme. Shades of red, brown and white were present giving the bohemian a

chic touch.

Our founder Reema Bakri was the glamourous host of the night, and gave a speech that resulted in cheers, applause and smiles. The dress code of the night was a bohemian luxury and guests created their own interpretation and came dressed for the occasion – must I add you all looked amazing!

The night started off with guests rapidly coming in with greetings, good energy and ready to party. Among those guests were creatives; Kazz Tourabyeh, Zaid Louzi, Roxy Jazz, Fayrouz Yousef and Suhaib Attar.

Mingling and networking went on whilst Zaid Wazzan and Roshdi Habjouqa from Clique House Media Agency, were capturing all the sweet and memorable moments of the night making sure to not miss a scene.

As the night went on, our guests and our host of the night danced and partied like never before to Amman’s hottest DJ in the scene, Ahmad Zmali. Producing the craziest remixes in deep house emphasising the exclusivity of the event.

Not only was the event exclusive but it was inclusive! With cocktails and mocktails provided throughout the night. Reds Bar did such a fantastic job with being the amazing sponsor of the night and supplying the mocktails. We should all know by now that a CurlHood event wouldn’t be a CurlHood event without being extra. Therefore, supplying the cocktails, all the way from Beirut, Lebanon was mixologist Fadi Jammoul! Cup flipping and drink mixing, our CurlHood signature cocktails were served all night which were carefully curated to have their own personality for our guests.

No-one misses out at our CurlHood events, so not only were our guests looking fly, but our DJ and Bartenders for the night came looking correct for the event in clothing brand Balagan – and let me say they rocked it well.

It wasn’t long until our guests got hungry – and what party doesn’t have food? Straight from the Middle East, an Arabian platter was presented and a selection of food and sweets was present from prestigious catering company, Zalatimo. Our guests tucked in and was boosted from the buffet to ensure their energy was kept all night because there was still a party to attend too, not to mention an after party too!

Throughout the night, people continued to dance, chat and laugh as they enjoyed not only the immaculate décor of the place and the farm itself, but the conversations as new friendships bloomed and the music as it made its way through the body. The smell of appreciation ran through the air and faces were left stunned when walked through on how to use the website.

And that was the night the CurlHood website was born. A well-deserved birthday celebration too.
